Drains IOM Announced today that it had been awarded SafeContractor Accreditation.

The SafeContractor Scheme is a major new initiative that works to the benefit of both contractor and client. Under current legislation a client has a legal obligation to ensure the safety of contractors working on their site.

There is therefore a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements before allowing them to work on a companies premises. This is a potentially time consuming and costly process. To mitigate this potential expense, Drains IOM has taken the initiative and become SafeContractor Approved in order to remove this onerous process for our clients.

You can now rest assured that our health and safety standards are second to none, ensuring that you can focus on your own business, whilst we can get on with securing your business and premises without delay.

Already many large organisations (including Nestle, Debenhams, RBS, HSBC, Lloyds TSB and Mowlem) use the Safecontractor as their primary means of selecting contractors. Safecontractor is effectively the clients approved contractor list.

Drains IOM is now a SafeContractor approved company and will continue to provide a good and safe service to its clients at all times also continually updating our health and safety procedures.
