Caring for our Environment
Drains IOM are very conscious about the Environment. We do use a little diesel at each jetting job but we use no chemicals at all throughout our extensive range of services.
Why treat waste water? Well Septic tanks simply don't work. Old septic tanks discharge raw sewage or raw effluent to the ground, water tables, streams and rivers. This effluent has a high pollutant level. Licences are no longer issued for septic tanks by the Freshwater Biologist and Environmental Protection Officers. We work closely with this department to update and comply to legislation and also for assistance with Environmental Issues.
If your thinking of upgrading your old septic tank or your upgrading due to expansion of your home or adding barn conversions etc to your foul drainage system then click on the Conder or Vortex button at the top of the page. I offer an extensive range of practical, low maintenance and highly efficient effluent treatment plants for the whole of the Isle of Man. I am the sole Island agent for Conder and WTE Ltd.
